Han Dong (b.1970) is a sculptor and accessories artist. He used to study in the Decoration Department of Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology. After his study, he participated in and created a number of landscapes, sculptures and mural painting design for exhibition halls and museums, and at the same time, he started to design artistic jewelleries. In 2006, he served as the director of Michael Jewelry Research Center of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. In the same year, Han Dong Studio was founded in the 798 Art District in Beijing, mainly for sculpture and artistic jewelleries creation. He has held many solo exhibitions and been invited to participate in international group shows. His works have been collected by private collectors from China, the United States, France, Germany, Canada and other countries.
